Carl Sagan

Bio

American astronomer and planetary scientist who contributed to NASA's Mariner, Viking, Voyager and Galileo missions and researched planetary atmospheres and the possibility of extraterrestrial life. He co-created the television series Cosmos, which reached audiences in more than sixty countries, and wrote widely read books on science and scepticism, including The Demon-Haunted World.
