• Privacy choices: a first-party browser storage record containing the consent version, timestamp and choices for Personalisation, Analytics and Marketing. This is used only to remember the choice.
• Contact details entered in the form: name, email address, optional subject and message. The website does not send these fields to its own server. It reads them in the browser only to construct a pre-filled WhatsApp or email link; the visitor decides whether to open the service and press send.
• Technical request data: ordinary network and security data may be handled by the hosting and delivery infrastructure when a page is requested. The site does not add an analytics identifier or advertising profile.

• Operate and secure the site: processing needed to provide pages, navigation and the live Stories feed, based on legitimate interests in operating a secure public website (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)). Strictly necessary storage for remembering a privacy choice is used without optional consent.
• Remember optional preferences: the Personalisation category is independent and off by default. It may be used only after the visitor opts in (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)). No Analytics or Marketing technology is deployed on this site.
• Respond to an enquiry: the site itself does not receive the form submission. If a visitor chooses to send it, WhatsApp or their email provider receives the information to support that conversation. The provider's own terms and privacy policy then apply.

The site uses Lovable Cloud/hosting infrastructure to deliver the application and uses a server-side request to the public Rethink Society Blogger publication to display published Stories. Story links open the Blogger publication; the site does not embed the Blogger theme. Story images may be delivered from the image host referenced by a public Blogger post.

The contact workflow can take a visitor to WhatsApp (Meta) or to their email provider using a local, encoded link. Those providers are not used to send anything automatically by this website. Their processing, cookies, locations and international transfer safeguards are governed by their own policies. Rethink Society has not supplied or verified a complete provider-by-provider transfer arrangement, so no unsupported adequacy or Standard Contractual Clauses claim is made here.

No Google Analytics, advertising network, social-media embed, map, newsletter service, form processor or payment service is deployed by this website. Fonts are self-hosted by this site.

• The privacy-choice record is kept in the browser until it is withdrawn, deleted by the visitor, cleared by the browser or expires after 180 days. A new choice can then be made.
• The website does not retain contact-form submissions because it does not receive them. WhatsApp or email retention after the visitor sends a message is controlled by the visitor and the relevant provider; contact Rethink Society if a conversation needs to be removed from its own mailbox or account.
• Hosting and security logs, if generated by the delivery provider, are retained under that provider's operational and security policies. A site-specific log period has not been supplied; TODO: confirm the hosting log retention period.

Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, you may have the right to request access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and to object to processing. You may withdraw consent for Personalisation at any time through Privacy Settings. Withdrawal does not affect processing that happened before withdrawal.

This is an engineering description, not a legal guarantee. It covers the current public website, including the Blogger Stories feed, contact links and consent interface. It does not create a newsletter, user account, age-verification process, DPO or other service that the site does not operate.
