Bio
American engineer who designed the Apple I and Apple II computers, largely single-handedly. The Apple II, released in 1977, combined colour graphics, expansion slots and an approachable design, and became one of the first mass-market personal computers. He co-founded Apple with Steve Jobs and Ronald Wayne in 1976 and later worked in technology education and philanthropy.
