Bio

Greek philosopher who studied under Plato and tutored Alexander the Great before founding the Lyceum in Athens. He wrote systematically on logic, biology, physics, ethics, politics, rhetoric and poetics, establishing formal logic and empirical classification. His texts dominated European and Islamic scholarship for centuries, and several of his scientific conclusions were later disproved by observation.
